“Jardines Sintéticos”, or “Synthetic Gardens” was co-produced in 2005 with Marcela Quezada with the support of the Department for the Promotion of National Music prize. Invited participants in this album included Antonio Restucci on mandolin and Marcelo Fontecilla on percussion. Until the year 2006, the group “Bombyx Mori” was made up of Marco Antonio Castro, Leonardo Fontecilla, Cristián Lacasia, Juan Pablo Orrego and finally María José Valenzuela who joined the group in 2003 and retired in March 2006.

“Bombyx Mori” has performed in many concerts since 2002 and has distinguished itself in events in Chile like “el Moot” in Puerto Montt in 2004, the Book Fair of Ñuñoa in 2005 and a cycle of concerts in plazas and parks in 2006.
